·           1990   In prior years appeared in hundreds of television & radio commercials for STP,   Chrysler, Studebaker, Avis, Transapparel, Tune-up Masters, numerous public     service announcements, also appeared many times on Laugh-In, Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, Joey Bishop, numerous movies, including “The Love Bug,” also made numerous major magazine covers.
·            1985  Set new land speed records with sanctioned body at Bonneville Salt Flats in 1982 street-legal Camaro. Also set new land speed record with sanctioned body at  Bonneville Salt Flats in 1982 street-legal Caprice Classic. The run included 3 passengers, which made it the fastest vehicle in the world with 4 passengers. Articles printed in many auto magazines, including the covers of Auto Week and Hot Rod Magazine.
·                1973        Man of the Year Award - Boys Town of Italy
·               1973   Winner of the Indy 500 - Mile Race (as car owner) with driver Gordon Johncock.
·               1972   Winner of the Daytona 500 - Mile Race and Winner of the NASCAR National Championship (as car owner) with driver Richard Petty. Also car owner for NASCAR driving legend Buddy Baker.
·                 1971–75 Won CINE Golden Eagle Awards and also International CINE Eagle Awards for auto racing films “Chase the Wind”, “Fire and Rain”, “Indianapolis”, “Win, Lose or Draw”, “The Racer’s Edge” and “Quiet Revolution.”
·                 1969   Winner of the Indy 500 Mile Race (as car owner) with driver, Mario Andretti.

·                 1967   “The Master of Mechanics Trophy” the highest award a member in the motor sport field can receive at Indianapolis Motor Speedway by Sturtevant Co.
·                 1967   “Outstanding Contribution to Motor Sports Trophy” (world’s largest trophy) by the American Hot Rod Association.
·                 1967   Louis Schwitzer Award by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Most prestigious award  annually to an individual for a new racecar development. The first ever recipient of this award in acknowledgement for the design and creation of the turbine-powered car. 
·       1967 ASTOUNDED AUTO-RACING WORLD WITH MOST CREATIVE AND FUTURISTIC STP Turbine racecar #40- arguablythe most famous race car in history, which was  completely Granatelli built and designed - on display in Smithsonian Institute in  Washington, D.C. (Over 30,000 articles written worldwide.)
